What is Teacher Assist?
One of many GAT+ tools is Teacher Assist. A simple synchronous build for Google Classroom teacher’s online virtual class. Teachers are able to interact with their Google Classroom students in real-time while managing the virtual behaviour of the classroom. This behavioural complex of a virtual class is narrowed down to the teacher’s fingertips via a Teacher Assist Dashboard.
Streaming a Class
Teachers can start streaming a class and gain control over the classroom. Firstly launch the teacher assist tool from the GAT+ panel.
Once launched go to either the Classroom or Groups subtab of the panel, and start streaming a classroom.
You can edit classroom settings and refresh membership (refresh to update new members of the class) using the green icons next to streaming a class play icon.
Instantly Block Students From Webpages
Students tend to wander into all types of web pages. Teachers are able to block these web pages with just a few clicks so students can stay focused on the task at hand.
Once the classroom is live, If a teacher notices a page that violates class policy in the students streaming window, they can select the mini arrow green icon at the top right corner of the streaming window and Block Current Page.
Select the URL you want to block from the types of URL’s on the list,

Teachers can keep track and toggle between allowing and blocking the web pages that have been blocked for the class in the Site Control list.
