To remove all external shares with the exception of a single user, you need to do the following:
- Find all the files shared out and exclude those files shared with the particular external user.
(See example below)
2. Select all the files returned.
3. Select the ‘File operations’ button and click on ‘Remove permissions’ option.
A pop-up window will be displayed.
4. Under the Action field select Remove All External Shares and click ‘Send request‘. This request will need approval by the designated Security officer (SO).
Once the request is approved by the designated SO, the actions will initiate.
Report only – to generate report only on those files – without action to take effect. (click on (?) beside Report only)
Notify local users – option to notify the users (owners of the files) for the changes to be made.
The action will take an effect and it will be reported in the Admin log.
