A Google Workspace Admin can recover files from a Shared Google Drive. Here’s how:

  1. Log into the Admin Console.
  2. Go to Apps ? then Google Workspace. 
  3. Click on the Drive and Docs option ? Find the file or folder you want to restore.
  4. Press the Restore button on the right of the file tab ? Select the date range for recovering the file (make sure the file was deleted within the span of these dates.) 
  5. Press RESTORE DATA.

Voila, now all selected files are restored to the chosen Shared Drive.
