Not only can emojis make your Google Drive more organised and visually appealing, but you can also use them later on to search your Drive with ease.

Here’s how to add symbols/ or emojis to your folders:

  1. Visit and copy the symbol or emoji you like by clicking on it.
  2. Go to your Google Drive, right-click on an existing folder → choose Rename → paste your symbol or emoji along your chosen folder name.

Here’s how to use them afterwards to search your Drive:

Simply search your Drive for a specific folder by entering the emoji you added to the name.
